Registered Dietitian

I'm a mother of two, and like most moms out there, working to balance work, kid's schedules, and home life - without letting my own health take a backseat. Managing busy life and stress is one of my greatest challenges and a common focus for my clients. How can we keep our health (physical and mental) a priority while still being successful in other areas of life?

I've been a registered dietitian since 2014 where I worked with medically-supervised weight loss programs until 2017 when I opened my own nutrition practice. In 2015 I started branching out and also consulting patients with autoimmune conditions. The complicated cases became my passion and brought me to where I am today focused on women's hormone health.

 

Since hormones are extremely sensitive to the balance in our body, it is imperative that we use a whole-body approach. Hormone balance is affected by nutrient status, gut health, inflammation, stress, environmental exposures, and genetics (to name a few!).

 

I developed my Foundations of Hormone Balance Method to address these underlying areas of the body that contribute to hormone imbalances. This method has been extremely successful in helping women find relief, results, and comfort within their body!

My Story

I struggled for years with painful migraines, bloating, stubborn weight, anxiety, and low energy. I began to believe that this was normal and I would just have to live with it.

 

Many doctors’ appointments, medications, and diet changes brought me little relief. As a dietitian I knew what nutrients my body needed, but there was something deeper at play.

 

As I dug deeper and studied the delicate connection between our hormones, stress, and inflammation; I was able to identify hormone imbalances and start healing my body from the inside out. Over the course of a year, I was able to heal my gut, normalize my cycle, get my energy back and saw the weight come off!

I get asked often, how do I maintain my health?

Our hormones are constantly changing through our life (stress, babies, aging). This requires attention, care, and continuous hormone support.

 

Learning to listen to my body and understand my hormones has brought me to my lowest adult weight (even compared to high school!) without restricting calories or honestly even exercising, aside from natural movement in the day and walking. It allowed me to drop my pregnancy weight by 3 months postpartum after both of my children, again without calorie restriction or additional exercise. And it's not just about weight; more importantly, my method has given me the energy I need to enjoy and care for my family and clients.

 

I developed the Foundations of Hormone Balance Method based on what I have learned over the years and it is my true passion and joy to teach each of my clients!

This is a choice to stop putting yourself and your health on the "back burner" because you deserve to feel good and be the best version of yourself at every stage of life!

You should never stop working on yourself. It's never too late to make a change. The most valuable thing I can provide my clients is understanding, guidance, and accountability so that they too can reach their goals.
